Join Marisa at Lakeside Park at 7.00am for an invigorating Yoga session prior to the walk/run to the Pancake breakfast......mmmmmm what a start to a Saturday!!! (NO yoga mats needed)

Daytime Activities

7.00 am Yoga

Morning Yoga with the talented Marisa at Lakeside Park (see map for details). Welcome the day in and loosen up and relax prior to the run. NO mats necessary!!

7.30 am Earth Run

The Earth Run will start at approximately 7.30 am. Gather in the park by the lake and walk/run along the waterfront to the Prestige Hotel and then it is up to Baker Street and then we'll take a left turn on Stanley Street to the Central School (Distance Eduction School of the Kootenays) where there will be a yummmmmmy pancake breakfast waiting for you.

8.00 am - 10.00 am Pancake Breakfast

Join us for a FREE Pancake breakfast will all the trimmings!! The breakfast will be held in the "Daily Bread" building, just across the road from the School on Stanley Street.

8.00 am - 1.00 pm Vendors

Setup throughout the day in the School grounds will be a variety of Vendors who have a range of Earth Friendly products and services. A great place to do your Saturday morning shopping!!

9.00 am 

Rotarians at Work

10.00 am - 1.00 pm

Kids Activities

We will have a supervised kids activities area setup for all the adventurous and creative kids (thats just about all the kids in Nelson right!!) so come along and join in the fun. Depending on the weather on the day we will have outdoor activities as well as indoor activities planned. Indoor activities will be in the "Daily Bread" building.

Outdoor Music and Workshops

From 9 am until 1.00 pm in the Central School grounds there will be musical acts and other performers who will be entertaining you outdoors (weather permitting).

In the gymnasium we'll have other seasoned musical acts and speakers. Along with the music there will be a variety of workshops you can attend too.

John Alton who will be talking about the National Commuter Challenge in which Nelson received 1st place last year.

Deb Kozak (City Councillor) will be speaking on the Path to 2040 Sustainability Project that the City of Nelson is undertaking.

11.15 am - 11.45 am

Shawn Tasker who will update you on Transition Nelson's upcoming event in May and other projects the organization is working on.

12.00 pm - 1.00 pm

Night Time Activities

PLEASE NOTE  Venue Change DUE TO WEATHER. 

Night Time Activities are now at the Self Design High on 402 Victoria Street. The Legion Building across the street from the Library.

Join in the fun with the Earth Jam and two sensational musical acts. It all starts at 6.30pm at the Cottonwood Park (click map for details)

6.30 pm - 8.00 pm

Join in with some entertaining and informative workshops prior to all the music getting started.
